Where I've worked

Real reporting for a real business, not just coursework.

Data Analyst

Czech Inn Hotels · hotel group, Prague

May 2025 – Aug 20261 yr 3 mos

Power BI and Excel reporting for the sales team: occupancy, cancellations and revenue across the group’s hotels.

  1. 01

    Power BI dashboards

Built and extended the dashboards: connected data sources, created new and reworked existing visuals for occupancy analysis — bookings, cancellations, month-over-month and property-by-property comparison of key metrics.

  2. 02

    Excel reporting

Collected the data, built pivot tables and charts, validated the numbers and tracked down errors before reports went out.

  3. 03

    Revenue monitoring

Designed Power BI visuals comparing room rates and total revenue across periods, with indicators that flag anomalies and sharp changes for the senior analyst.

What I do

How I can help

No overselling: these are the things I can already do well and want to do more of.

SQL queries & data prep

Joins, aggregations and clean-up in T-SQL on MS SQL Server, or SQLite for local data. Getting the right table out of the database is where every analysis starts.

Power BI dashboards

Data model, measures, and a report page that answers the question at a glance instead of hiding it in fifteen tabs.

Analysis in Python & Excel

Descriptive statistics, trends and simple charts in Python; pivot tables, lookups and what-if scenarios in Excel.

Business & finance context

Economics, accounting and mathematical methods from my degree, so numbers get interpreted, not just computed.
